Hello!! Happy Veterans Day!!!
How are you doing?! Are you having a good day?! I'm having an awesome day!! I'm proud to be an American :D I want to say to all Veterans...whether at home or abroad...THANK YOU for protecting this great country! I feel so blessed!!

Today's post is on picking a TURKEY. Gobble! Gobble!! Thanksgiving is a couple weeks away, and it wouldn't be the same without turkey! However, funky flavorings and antibiotics are nothing to be grateful for, so pick a bird with only the good stuff!! The following information is good to know :D

NOT CLEAN: Conventional Turkey With Added Sodium.
Some store-bought frozen turkeys are injected with a solution of preservatives, sodium, coloring ingredients, and/or artificial flavors, which can negatively impact your blood pressure.

CLEAN: Conventional Natural Turkey.
No added sodium or flavorings here, but these birds may still have been given antibiotics; fed a diet of nonorganic, potentially pesticide-filled feed; or raised in cramped cages that allow little natural movement.

CLEANEST: Organic Natural Turkey.
Organic means no antibiotics or pesticides, while natural means your turkey wasn't injected with sodium or flavors. Pastured turkeys, allowed to roam outdoors, are even better; find them at local farms.

Eat clean...stay lean...so which bird will you be buying this year?!
Since we're talking turkey, I want to share a funny photo :D

So...this is me...lol! Today, I was at Wal-Mart picking up a few supplies, and I walked past a section with the Thanksgiving paper goods, ceramic items, and THIS turkey hat :D OMGosh...seriously, only at Wal-Mart would you find a hat like this...lol! Okay, maybe not just Wal-Mart, but I haven't seem them anywhere else :D Even the neck on the turkey bobbled up and down when I took a selfie! And...look at the eyes on the turkey...lol! Can you tell I had too much fun?! But...no...i didn't buy it :D

That's it for this post...have a HEALTHY couple of days!
SEE YOU right back here on Fridayyyyy!!
