Hi there! Happy Wednesday :D
How's your week going?! Are you exercising and eating healthy?! Did you CRUSH the exercises I posted on Monday? If so, AWESOME!! If not, the exercises DON'T require any equipment AND there's still time to work in a sweat this week! You got this!!

Today's post is about slacking off. We're all guilty of this at 1 time or another...lol! But whether we're bored, stressed, or just plain over it, there are ways to get results!! Keep reading because the following are some signs AND what to do about it :)

SIGN:
You spend more time texting then you do exercising.
SOLUTION:
Cut the ties with your social media for a hour! Temporarily turn off your phone. Your workout will be much more productive ;) If you must have your phone, google new or great workouts that focus on the muscle groups you're working on.

SIGN:
You dread going to the gym and just go through the motions.
SOLUTION:
Time to change things up! Try a group fitness class. Exercise with a friend or meet someone new at the gym to exercise with. Exercise outdoors...find a nearby park, beach, or even a hiking trial. This will make things new and different and reignite your passion for exercise.

SIGN:
Your mind wanders while you're exercising.
SOLUTION:
Mentally put your worries and stresses aside! When exercising, focus intently on what you're working on and imagine how it will look if you continue to exercise it regularly...lol! When I find myself in this situation, I imagine how I'll look in the new outfit I just bought. Yes, I'm guilty of being a shopper but it helps me want to ROCK in my clothes :D

SIGN:
You do the same workout day after day, week after week.
SOLUTION:
You're in a rut! Change the variables to make things interesting and kick up your progress. Before I meet with a client, I write down what we're going to work on. I'm always looking for ways to switch things up so it doesn't get boring :D Basic things you can consider changing up: your rep ranges, weights used, exercises, bodypart splits, or even rest intervals.

SIGN:
You count the minutes on the treadmill and hang onto the rails as you plod along.
SOLUTION:
Do a Tabata treadmill workout to burn a ton of calories and fat! It's only 4 minutes long and there's no way you'll be able to hang onto the rails and zone out with this kind of intensity ;) If you're lucky like me, you can always head to the nearest beach and take a walk in the sand :)

SIGN:
You stopped pushing yourself and just go through the motions.
SOLUTION:
Re-evaluate your goals and reasons for exercising! Write them down. Perhaps you need to try a new activity for a while. Find a new goal worth achieving. Start something that challenges you, like a marathon or fitness competition. The options are endless :)

Ready to work it?! AWESOME!! Slacking off and excuses are for people who don't want it bad enough! This isn't you, not this time :D
Have a FABULOUS day!
See you on Fridayyyyy!!
